Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Monica was surrounded by animal companions and the visual and performing arts. After studying Architectural and Interior Design, and working in the architectural field for over 10 years, she found her way to a 180 acre farm in Northwestern Pennsylvania - a serene place deeply rooted with ancestral energies.
Drawn to the night sky and the phases of the moon, Sleepy Moon Farm was born. This is where Monica began her near 30 years of education in holistic wellness and energy work for both animal companions and humans, hence, Sleepy Moon Farm became a space dedicated to the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being for both and for all.
As a holistic practitioner, Monica takes a multi-faceted approach and works in layers as our bodies consist of layers upon layers of cells, taking into account the animal or the human as a whole by considering vital diagnostic factors:

This aids in discovering the root of the issues in need of attention, of which often reveals deeply seated, suppressed or “trapped” emotions over the years that manifest into physical imbalances.
